Mimosa Fairy
Completed Feb 1, 2004. Mixed Media. Mimosas remind me of my childhood in Louisiana and the fairytales my mother and sisters used to tell, so I drew a child fairy. We had one in the middle of our back yard. Mimosas smell so wonderful, and tickle your nose!
This is a collage of my great great Grandparents and their children. I'm becoming very interested in collage lately, especially digital collage from old photos, with old objects or symbolism in the picture.
This is a digital artwork created on Jan 27, 2004 with some of my macro photography.
This is one in a series of 3 acrylic magolia paintings on canvas depicting the stages of blooming. I started painting the middle stage magnolia first. Check back with my journal to watch the others progress.
